Who is Dany DuBois?  

BACP reg., BPS, (BA hons Philosophy; MA Ex. Psychotherapy; PG Dip. Psychology; Cert. Gestalt Adolescent Psychotherapy.)

I am a female psychotherapist based in central Cambridge, UK. I trained for four years as an Existential Psychotherapist and Counsellor after a Philosophy degree and Psychology PG Dip. I have also undertaken a certificate in Integrative Supervision and have a certificate in Gestalt Adolescent Psychotherapy.

I have been seeing private clients for weekly psychotherapy for fourteen years.  

I currently work as a visiting lecturer at Regent's University in the School of Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology. My recent roles have been to lead the BUPA Wellness Trauma Support, including training BUPA counselling staff; working with teenagers in children's care homes and training staff; and supervising trainee psychotherapists and counselling psychologists at Claremont Project, London. 

My previous roles have included working as Director of Counselling at a London branch of Mind, where I provided training and clinical supervision for student psychotherapists, counselling psychologists and counsellors. I have also worked as a counsellor for Childline, Mind, Faces in Focus, The Central School of Speech & Drama, Lifeworks and Bupa EAP. I have trained and worked as a group psychotherapist and facilitated seminars on Gestalt Dream Therapy.

I am registered with the BACP, and I am a member of the BPS. If you have health insurance, I am a registered therapist with BUPA and Pru Health.

Existential-phenomenological psychotherapy allows you to have clarity on your life situation so that you can feel comfortable with who you are.

This therapy helps you take responsibility for your life and opens up the possibilities that may have been obscured from your view. Through private therapy, you will discover what has been missing in your life and find ways to feel complete.
